Biography: Dr. Chiayee Khorsheed Faqe is an assistant professor in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts, at Soran University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Holding a Ph.D. in English Language and Linguistics from Soran University, it brings over 16 years of distinguished academic experience to my role. My teaching portfolio encompasses core courses in English language and linguistics, including phonetics, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, morphology, research methods, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics. Complementing this scholarly focus, I possess extensive expertise in career development, professional advancement in higher education, and workforce capacity-building within academic institutions. I found and directed the university�s language center and served for multiple years as head of the English department. I also have substantial experience supervising and teaching postgraduate students at the master�s and doctoral levels.
