Biography: Farooq Omar Abdullah is an Assistant Lecturer and coordinator of the Accounting Department at Soran University, specializing in Finance and Islamic Banking. He also serves as the coordinator of the Economics Research Centre. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Salahaddin University and a Master's degree in Finance and Islamic Banking from Karabuk University, Turkey. His research interests include finance, Islamic banking, econometrics, fintech, and AI in finance. Farooq teaches courses such as Financial Management, Money and Banking, and Managerial Accounting. His research focuses on fintech, green financial instruments, and the role of AI in finance and stock markets.
