Biography: My name is Sarhang Jamal Ibrahim, and I am currently a Lecturer at Soran University, within the Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Science. I received my MSc in Networking Professional from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom, in 2014, and I completed my PhD at Soran University in 2025. My doctoral research, titled “Privacy Preserving and Authentication Enhancement for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV),” focused on designing secure and privacy-preserving communication protocols for vehicular networks. My research interests include network security, the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), privacy-preserving protocols, switching, routing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and web design. I am deeply interested in developing innovative solutions that enhance the security and performance of next-generation intelligent transportation and communication systems. At Soran University, I teach several courses, including Networking, Web Design, Operating Systems, and Advanced Communication Systems. I strive to create a learning environment that bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and adapt to technological advancements. I have published books and academic papers, which are listed in the Publications section of my profile. I consider myself a friendly and team-oriented person, and I enjoy collaborating with colleagues and students to exchange ideas, conduct research, and contribute to the continuous development of our academic community.
