Biography: Dr. Sirwan Abdolwahed Aula is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Soran University (Iraq). He holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Database Professionals from Sheffield Hallam University (UK), and a BSc in Computer Science from Salahaddin University–Erbil. Dr. Aula’s research interests focus on artificial intelligence, nature-inspired optimization algorithms, and hybrid machine-learning systems. His recent work includes the development of FOXTSA, FOXTSA-MLP, and Foxtsage, hybrid optimization frameworks that enhance predictive accuracy and convergence stability across real-world applications such as tourism analytics, engineering design, and intelligent data classification. He has published in several Scopus- and Clarivate-indexed Q1 journals, including Ain Shams Engineering Journal, Systems and Soft Computing, and Cognitive Systems Research. Dr. Aula actively serves as a peer reviewer for high-impact international journals such as Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), Cluster Computing (Springer), and Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering (Springer). In addition to his research activities, he contributes extensively to academic leadership and postgraduate supervision within Soran University. His current projects explore adaptive metaheuristic design, deep learning interpretability, and AI-driven optimization in multidisciplinary problem domains.
